Steve and Anna have been running this family guest house for 29 years, with many guests returning year after year. Steve took over from his grandparents, Reg and Lill Stride, who started White Guest House in 1962 — some guests still return who remember them.
All rooms are en-suite with hairdryers, TVs, and a complimentary drinks tray with teas, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Free Wi-Fi throughout. A seven-minute walk takes you past the Bath cricket ground, over the river Avon, and into the city — Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent and Thermae Spa are all within easy reach.
